YAKIMA, Wash.-- Organizers of the Yakima Folklife Festival moved step closer to selling beer and wine garden at this year's event. The Yakima Parks and Recreation Department approved it for the event at Franklin Park. Organizers say allowing beer and wine would raise money without having to charge for things like admission. Yakima City Council will have the final say next month.
