The council is expected to vote on the purchase of 32 acres immediately adjacent to the SOZO Sports Complex.

Land adjacent to the SOZO Complex must operate as a public park and recreation property to meet the City's agreement to provide a replacement to the Washington Recreation Conservation Office (WRCO) for land being used to develop an aquatics facility on a portion of Chesterley Park.

Council is also expected to make a vote on additional funding for an East-West Corridor, with the city funding 21% of the project's total cost.

Council will also vote to approve a citywide LED streetlight upgrade in an attempt to reduce crime.
