Yakima business brings fresh, local produce to your doorstep

YAKIMA, Wash – “We really wanna bring the farmers market experience to your doorstep,” said Emily Brown.

Brown is the owner of Pacific Northwest Fresh, a family-run business that specializes in bringing local produce into the homes of the people of the Yakima Valley. She says she understands how busy life can be, so their goal is to make it easier.

“We want people to be able to feel like they can access the farms, they can access the things that they would at the farmers market, and that they can do it from the convenience of their home,” said Brown.

Pacific Northwest Fresh currently partners with eight local farms. They pack boxes full of fruits and veggies that are in season, locally. And the nice part is, it’s delivered to your door, every week.

“We wanna make it easy for people to support the local businesses in our community, and that's why we do what we do. We not only connect the farms with the consumers, but we also connect small businesses with our consumers, and we keep all that money local,” said Brown.

Ordering is simple. You pick your box size, have the option of add-on items, and choose your delivery schedule. Brown says her business is one-of-a-kind.

“We really bring something unique to the Yakima Valley, and we keep a lot of local dollars here in the Yakima Valley, and I think by doing that, we offer something special,” said Brown.
