WSU student arrested in campus bomb threats
PULLMAN, Wash. -- The Washington State University Police Department says it has arrested and jailed an 18-year-old sophomore in recent bomb threats made against WSU's Stimson Hall.
Police say the student arrested worked as a resident adviser at Stimson Hall.
Police say he was arrested at 10 a.m. Monday at Stimson Hall.
Police say officers searched the student's room and seized evidence, including a computer. Police say an examination of the computer connected the student to events at Stimson Hall.
No evidence indicates that the student had the ability to carry out the threats, police say.
