WSP investigates cause of three-car collision, single injury
YAKIMA, Wash - A three-car collision near Yakima has sent a 68-year-old woman to the hospital.
WSP says Andreas Luderer, 47, of Moxee, was headed east on SR 24 and hit two cars that were turning onto SR 24 from Beaudry Road, Thursday around 3:58 p.m.
68-year-old Sharon Hecker, who was driving one of the other cars, was injured and transported to Virginia Mason Memorial.
The driver of the third car hit was 27-year-old Antonio Castellanos-Zamora. Castellanos-Zamora and Luderer were not injured.
WSP believes drugs or alcohol may be involved, and the crash is currently under investigation.
