Woman held at gunpoint in Selah home invasion

SELAH, Wash.. -Sheriff Deputies told KIMA the homeowners were alerted something or someone was inside their home by the sound of the front door being forced open.

That's when Virginia Katona came face-to-face with her attackers.

"I was really pretty shocked and so I started shouting at him, what did he think he was doing, to get out of my house and I started throwing things," said Virginia Katona.

The ruckus grabbed the attention of Katona's husband who happened to be carrying a pistol. He fired a shot and that was enough to frighten away the two men.

The suspects are still on the loose.
