White Swan woman dead in truck vs. semi crash
NEAR HARRAH, Wash. - A White Swan woman is dead after her pickup hit a semi truck that was backing into a driveway.
Yakima County Sheriff's deputies said 41-year-old Larita Jaramillo was heading north on Harrah Road in a Chevy pickup Wednesday around 5 p.m. when she did not see the semi backing into the driveway and hit the trailer, scraping underneath.
The crash killed the driver instantly and damaged the windshield and front of the pickup.
Deputies said a three-year-old was flung from the pickup as the child was not buckled up. Medics took the child to a Yakima hospital for injuries that were not serious.
