Union Gap's 'Old Town Days' brought Civil War to life
UNION GAP, Wash.- The Central Washington Agricultural museum went back in time to the Civil War for Union Gap’s Old Town Days.
The two-day event showed what camp life was like during the Civil War and had actors from the Washington Civil War Association do a reenactment of battles from the war.
Alan Geho has been part of the Washington Civil War Association for 22 years and he enjoys coming out to be with people that share his love for the Civil War.
“Shooting guns, talking history and working with the public and informing the public of a very important part of our history it doesn't get much better than that,” he said.
