Union Gap pulled in $3.7 million in sales taxes last year. That's about $500 thousand more than 2010.
City officials say that extra money helped pay for the new City Hall modular unit. One woman wants some of the money spent on projects like improving parks.
"Well it'd be nice to know what's next. You've got the businesses, but what about community investment," Cindy Manjarrez said.
Union Gap says the sales tax revenue also went to new streets and the water system.
