Two men built a bomb and attempted to kill someone
YAKIMA Wash. -- Two men who pleaded guilty for building a bomb in attempts to kill someone appeared in court today for their sentencing.
According to court documents Nicholas Ruff left a bomb under the car of his ex-girlfriends new boyfriend Derek Tamez back in 2015.
Ruff’s relative Zackary Woods wo has trained on building bombs during his service in the army.
He helped Ruff build the bomb.
Both Ruff and Woods were charged with second degree assault and second degree malicious placement of an explosive device.
The men were sentenced to 120 months for second degree assault and 60 months for second degree malicious placement of an explosive device.
