Truck topples over spilling logs in Union Gap roundabout

UNION GAP, Wash. -- A truck tipped over Wednesday afternoon in a Union Gap roundabout.

Officials say the driver lost control while driving through the roundabout on Valley Mall Blvd. at Rudkin Road. Police cited the driver for going too fast.

Troopers said the trailer's brakes were out of alignment and issued a citation for defective brakes.

Nobody was hurt in the crash.

The roundabout has since been reopened. Part of Rudkin Road remained blocked off into the evening as crews removed the logs.
