Trial set for 2015 Sunnyside murder suspect
YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. -- A 23-year-old man accused of killing a teen in Sunnyside two years ago will now go to trial early next year.
Raymundo Casares is charged with first-degree premeditated murder after court papers said he shot 18-year-old Francisco Bautista in May 2015.
Court documents said Bautista was killed in the 1400 block of South Sixth Street and the shooting was gang-related.
Casares was arrested by U.S. marshals in Snohomish, Washington shortly after the murder. His trial is set for January 8.
