Tieton creamery gives community tour

Tieton Farm and Creamery makes handmade cheese using milk from their own herd of grass-fed goats, sheep and cows.

TIETON, Wash. -- A local creamery opened its doors to the public Saturday for a community tour. Tieton Farm and Creamery makes handmade cheese using milk from their own herd of grass-fed goats, sheep and cows. Kids got to pet some baby goats and also taste the different cheeses made at the farm.

"We like natural farming, the cheese. It's a wonderful, wonderful thing. A great idea. And we thought we'd give it a whirl today, try it out," said Cooper Carter, who was there with his wife and daughter.

If you weren't able to go on the free tour today, don't worry. They'll be open again next Saturday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. for the public to attend.

They're located at 18796 Summitview Rd. in Tieton.

Video will be posted following the night broadcast.
