Three men facing assault and drive-by charges for shootout at gas station in Toppenish
YAKIMA, Wash.- There were also three men in court today after police say they were involved in a shootout that happened at western gas in Toppenish this week.
Police say 24-year-old Jesus Sanchez and 22-year-old Jose Salinas were in a red truck when they started shooting at Israel Castaneda with an assault rifle.
Castaneda fired back from behind his car as the two men in the red truck drove away.
Police say they arrested all three of them shortly after hearing the gunshots and they are facing assault and drive by charges.
Castaneda and Salinas bail is set at $175,000, but Sanchez’s bail is set at $300,000 because of a previous arrest for an armed robbery at tacos El Rey.
