Neighborhood Health offers free health services to the community
YAKIMA, Wash. - Community residents gather in downtown Yakima for free health services for the whole family.
Yakima Neighborhood Health Services (YNHS) hosted Festival in the Parking Lot on Wednesday afternoon, offering free health services to the community.
More than 20 community organizations have booths at the festival including health screenings, blood pressure testing, help with health insurance and other helpful tips on health.
With back to school around the corner, kids can get free immunizations and enjoy some games and prizes.
YNHS Community Director Leah Ward said she hopes the community comes out to take advantage of the free services.
“We want people to have fun, we want them to get healthy, we want them to have a snow cone and just enjoy the beautiful weather,” she said.
The event will continue Thursday afternoon at YNHS’s Sunnyside location.
