Tacoma man dies in woods north of Ellensburg

KITTITAS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE NEWS RELEASE -- On Sunday, July 13th, 2014 at 1:59 PM, Kittitas County Sheriff's Deputies and Kittitas County Search and Rescue responded to a report that 69 year old Tacoma resident Hing Prim had collapsed in the woods, off Forest Service Road 3500, approximately 25 miles northeast of Ellensburg.

Mr. Prim was mushroom hunting with his wife and got separated. His wife became concerned when they didn't meet at their designated time. He was located deceased a short time later, approximately 100 yards off the road. The cause of death is still under investigation.
