Suspects identified in deadly Grandview shooting

GRANDVIEW, Wash. -- Deputies said they've identified suspects involved in a deadly shooting in Grandview. But they aren't naming the suspects.

20-year old Carmen Johnson was shot and killed at a Grandview house party Sunday. Deputies have been told Carmen was trying to break up a fight. It's believed several hundred people were at the party so that makes the investigation challenging.

"People are going to be off in different directions and trying to get away so it's chaotic," said Yakima County Sheriff's Detective Sergeant Mike Russell. "So often times it can be harder for people to specifically say who did what."

Officials confirmed Carmen's step-dad is a Sunnyside police officer. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday morning.
