Sunnyside School Board recognized with state award

SUNNYSIDE, Wash. -- The Sunnyside School Board can once again call itself Washington's School Board of the Year. The announcement came over the weekend. Sunnyside was selected the best among districts with fewer than 9,000 students.It's the second time the board won the award.Sunnyside's graduation rate last year was 85 percent, which was more than double the rate from six years ago.
