Sunnyside man injured after car crashes into tractor
SUNNYSIDE, Wash. —
An ambulance transported a Sunnyside man to the hospital Saturday after the car he was driving hit the side of a tractor.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the incident took place at 4:55 P.M. at Alexander Road and North McLean Road in Sunnyside.
WSP says the 34-year-old car driver was traveling west on Alexander Road when his car struck the side of the tractor.
The tractor had been going east.
The car driver was taken to Astria Regional Medical Center.
The tractor driver was unharmed.
Troopers say the cause is unknown.
They also say that drugs or alcohol was involved in the crash.
