Second Airline Market robbery leads to ongoing police investigations
UNION GAP, Wash. - Police are trying to identify three suspects involved in a second armed robbery at Airline Market in the past two months.
Reports from the Union Gap Police Department (UGPD) said three masked suspects went to the market located at 1002 W Washington Avenue around 10:01 p.m. Monday, May 15.
The suspects were carrying handguns and held the store clerk at gunpoint, officials said. They left the store with an unknown amount of cash.
Police are investigating this incident in relation to a previous robbery at the same location on April 13 around 9:27 p.m.
Witnesses descriptions of the three suspects were similar to those of the April 13 robbery: three masked men, medium builds and approximately 5'8-6' in height. Surveillance photos attached to this story are from the previous robbery.
Officials with UGPD continue to investigate these robberies and is asking anyone with information to call the agency at (509) 248-0430.
