Repairs being made at Terrace Heights transfer station

YAKIMA, Wash. -- Repairs are being made to the Terrace Heights transfer station after a fire last May.

Officials said the station will get a new roof and outer skin. The interior will be repainted, and a new electrical system will be installed.

The repairs will cost more than $1 million, but they are covered by insurance. The work should be done by the end of June.
