Red Cross helps multiple families in weekend fires across Yakima Valley
YAKIMA VALLEY, Wash. -- The Red Cross says they're helping multiple families affected by two fires across the valley, yesterday.
One happened in the afternoon, at a home in the 13600 block of Wide Hollow Road in Yakima.
They say they’re helping 14 people, but did not say the cause of the fire.
And in Granger, they say there was a fire in the evening.
The Red Cross says in that incident, people in five apartments were affected.
They say two of the apartments are total losses, two are unlivable due to smoke damage, and one was vacant.
A total of seven adults and four kids are being helped by the Red Cross, and the cause of this fire is also unknown.
