Police: Yakima student suspended for tasing two classmates
YAKIMA -- The Yakima School District confirms a Washington Middle School student found a taser on the way to school this week.
The school district says the student chose to show the taser to a few other students and try it at school.
Yakima police department tells KIMA the student did use the device on two other classmates and has been suspended.
The principal of the middle school says the student involved is "a great kid who made a poor choice".
The district says the school advised parents of the students involved and are not concerned with the student being a future threat.
