Police: Sunnyside man arrested for stabbing stepdad
SUNNYSIDE, Wash. -- Police arrested a 24-year-old man for allegedly stabbing his stepfather Tuesday night at a home on the 800 block of Maridan Drive.
The victim told officers he refused to give his stepson money for marijuana which led to an argument, according to a news release.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police arrested Emmanuel Rivera and took him into custody for 1st degree assault domestic violence. The incident was not gang-related.
