Police said man used hatchet to break into Naches convenience store for alcohol and cigars
YAKIMA, Wash.- A man is facing burglary and theft charges after police say he used a hatchet to cut open the roof of a convenience store in Naches, before stealing cigars and alcohol last week.
Court documents say 18-year-old Andrew Brown also damaged security camera and ran off with ten bottles of alcohol.
Police say they found bottles of alcohol leading to the Greenway before losing the trail.
Police say they found a liquor bottle matching the description of what was taken at his house.
A woman KIMA spoke with who says she is the mother of Andrew Brown, says there is not alcohol at their home and that the bottle police found was empty and was kept decoratively.
