Police: Man arrested for cracking someone's skull with a metal bat
YAKIMA, Wash.- A man is behind bars after police said he hit someone in the head with a bat, leaving them with a fractured skull.
Yakima police said 18-year-old Nathan Lewis was in a house near the intersection of south 3rd Ave. and West Viola when he started hitting someone with a metal bat.
The man who was hit suffered a fractured skull, nose and pinky. Police say Lewis threatened to kill him if he called police.
Lewis is facing assault and felony harassment charges. His bail is set at $125,000.
