Police: Boy sent to local hospital after hit by truck while riding his bike
YAKIMA, Wash. -- A boy was sent to a local hospital after being hit by a truck Tuesday night, according to police. Police say the 8-year-old boy pulled out on the street from behind a parked car around 8:00 Tuesday night. They say a black '07 Ford F150 truck hit the boy.
According to police the bike was broken in half and the boy injured his leg and he was sent to a local hospital for treatment. They say the driver was not at fault. The boy is expected to be ok.
