Police: 2 throats slashed in domestic disturbance

UNION GAP, Wash. -- Union Gap police are still piecing together the events that led to a two people having their throats cut.

It happened on South Fourth Avenue.

Police say a woman got into a fight with her boyfriend's brother and was then slashed in the throat with a knife.

Authorities tell us the boyfriend then tried to intervene and was also stabbed in the throat.

Both victims are now in the hospital with serious injuries.

The suspect in this case was arrested.

He's currently in the Yakima County jail.
