Pepsi, Wray's team up to raise money for Children's Village

YAKIMA, Wash. -- Pepsi and Wray's teamed up to raise money for Children's Village. They made a donation for every cube of Pepsi sold this summer.

They presented the check for more than $2,000 Friday morning at Wray's on Summitview.

The store's owner says it's important to give back to the community.

"Children's Village is a great cause," said Chris Brown, Wray's Market Fresh IGA owner. "They do so much good for the valley. We want to make sure that they stay around for a long time. And anything we can do to help - we're always first to get on board."

Children's Village works with several local hospitals and clinics. They provide more than 30 services to kids and their families.
