Ore. man stabbed during fight over beer pong
PORTLAND, Ore. -- A 23-year-old man was stabbed early Tuesday morning after a fight that ensued over a beer pong game.
Officers were called at 3 a.m. to Portland Adventist Medical Center to a report of a stabbing victim.
The man had been at a house party in the area of 82nd Avenue and Fremont Street, and had gotten into an argument with another man over beer pong, according to a Portland Police Bureau news release.
The victim, not identified by police, didn't realize he had been stabbed until friends noticed he was bleeding and drove him to the hospital, police said.
The man sustained serious injuries, according to the news release.
Police did not have a suspect description and have not pinned down the location of the crime scene.
