No more parking problems near IKE High School

YAKIMA, Wash. -- After KIMA's story on the parking problems near the IKE High School construction site, neighbors say their streets are much safer.

Drivers working at the site were illegally parking on 44th Avenue. Yakima began towing and ticketing those cars and signs were put up to warn drivers.

Since then, neighbors say 44th Avenue looks like a street again, instead of a parking lot. People are no longer trapped in their driveways, and the streets are much cleaner.
