Snyder tells KIMA, the cuisine will represent American classics with a twist of the northwest.
The restaurant will have family seating and a bar.
We spoke with several people around downtown who are excited to try it out.
"The first thought is that any new business opening in downtown Yakima is really good news. The more, livelier downtown Yakima is, I think the better off we are in attracting folks to come here as tourist and even folks in town to come downtown," said Tap Manard.
Construction is expected to begin this week.
The restaurant isn't likely to open until next summer.
