New restaurant and market opening in Terrace Heights
YAKIMA, Wash. – A new restaurant and market in Terrace Heights is opening it’s doors Dec. 1.
Provisions is one of the few restaurants in Terrace Heights and Executive Chef Lindsay Park said her team saw an opportunity to serve the community.
"We're trying to keep our theme sort of open so that we can evolve and adapt to what's going on and what the community wants and needs and what we're growing in the valley," she said.
This restaurant is unique because it will have a market featuring smaller to go items and packaged foods from the restaurant.
"We're trying to provide a lot of options for Terrace Heights all in one space," Park said. "We thought we had enough space to do it, we'd kind of give it a try and see how it works.”
The market will not open with the restaurant next Friday but Park said she hopes to open it in February.
The restaurant has a twist on American food, with a menu that is chef-driven. It will serve brunch, lunch and dinner and prices range from $10 to $15 and upper twenties for entrees.
Guests can expect wood-fire pizzas, small plates to share, steak, seafood, pasta, salad, 14 local beers on tap, an extensive wine list and craft cocktails.
Park said her team has been working for more than a year to put this restaurant together and is excited to finally be able to share it with the public.
"It's been a year of long, hard work and lots of intentional detail and we're excited to share it with everyone," she said.
Provisions is using an app called Resy to schedule reservations. You can also call the restaurant to schedule a reservation and they do accept walk-ins.
Provisions is located at 2710 Terrace Heights Drive. The restaurant is closed on Mondays but open Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
