More school security for Grandview School District

GRANDVIEW, Wash. -- The Grandview School District is hoping to install an updated security system in all their campuses next school year.

The middle school ran a pilot program of the system last semester. All teachers and staff carried badges that let them press a button for either medical emergencies, security or police.

To install the system in the rest of the schools will cost about $75 thousand. The district is applying for a state grant to cover the cost.
