More passengers flying in & out of Yakima airport

YAKIMA, Wash. -- More passengers are flying in and out of the Yakima airport.

Flights have been 77 percent full for the first three months of the year. It was 75 percent for the same period last year.

The goal is to average at least 75 percent for the year in hopes of convincing Alaska Airlines to add more flights.

Flights last year averaged 71 percent of capacity.
