Man's body found inside car submerged in Yakima River
KITTITAS COUNTY, Wash. - The body of an adult man was found in a car that was submerged in the Yakima River.
Kittitas County Sheriff's Office (KCSO) deputies found the vehicle about 300 feet downstream from the Roza Recreation area boat launch around 6:40 a.m. Tuesday.
The Dive Team found 51-year-old Joseph Langdon of Burlington deceased inside the submerged car, Kittitas County reports said.
KCSO members and a tow company worked to remove the car from the river.
Kittitas County coroners determined Langdon died from drowning.
