Man with gun robs Yakima Domino's

YAKIMA POLICE NEWS RELEASE-- On 09-10-13 at approximately 2250 hours, Yakima Police Officers responded to 102 W. Mead Avenue in reference to a robbery that had just occurred. The suspect had fled the scene before officers arrived.

The investigation revealed that at approximately 2245 hours on 09-10-13 a male subject entered the business and displayed a handgun. The suspect demanded money from store employees and fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect was described as a male approximately 5'08" and 140 pounds. The suspect was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and a mask.

Responding officers set up a perimeter and a police K9 attempted to track the suspect. The suspect was not located. The case was forwarded to the Yakima Police Department's Detective Division.

One employee spoke to KIMA about the incident.

"We were just working, and you turn around and you see the gun and the guy coming toward you and mask and you know this is real. I think the autopilot just kind of took over and your brain, my brain just kind of said get out of here alive," said George Williams.
