Man sentenced to 24+ years for murdering Wapato man

YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. -- A killer will spend at least 24 years in prison after he admitted murdering a Wapato man last year.

24-year-old Eugene Lillie pleaded guilty to second-degree murder for killing Alan Moses. Moses was found dead in an orchard on Yakama Nation land in January 2013.

Lillie also told investigators he shot another man the same day. That man survived.
