Man pleads guilty to murder of Tieton missionary student
YAKIMA, Wash. - A man charged with murdering a student in Tieton has pleaded guilty.
Saul Llamas Rios entered a guilty plea in Yakima County Superior Court, Thursday afternoon, for the shooting death of Trae Oyler.
Documents said Trae Oyler was shot in a drive-by shooting as a student of the Antioch Christian Training Center in Tieton on October 26, 2016.
Rios entered pleas of guilty to one count of first-degree murder, and one count of threats to kill, according to an update from Yakima County Prosecutor, Joe Brusic.
Rios's recommended sentence is 27 years in Washington State Department of Corrections.
His sentencing is scheduled for April 17.
