Man found dead in Toppenish was shot in the head

YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. -- 20-year-old Pedro Marquez-Villa was killed by multiple gunshots to the head, according to the Yakima County Coroner Jack Hawkins.

Autopsy results indicate he was shot more than twice in the head with a small-caliber gun.

Marquez-Villa's body was found Saturday by Toppenish Police in the 900 block of Washington Street. He most recently lived in Whatcom County.

Deputies won't provide any more information about his death while they investigate.

Investigators have not identified any suspects.
