Man arrested after fleeing police, crashing car into power pole
MOXEE, Wash. —
Police arrested a man Saturday after he fled from officers in Moxee and crashed his car in Yakima.
According to Moxee Police, the incident happened at 5:45 P.M. when officers attempted to take Johnny Kintner, 32, into custody with a traffic stop.
He was wanted for several felony crimes and a felony warrant for escape from community custody.
Kintner briefly stopped, then sped off.
Officers followed him, but stopped due to traffic.
Kintner continued to drive recklessly before losing control of his car at the intersection of East Nob Hill Boulevard and Fair Avenue in Yakima. His car crashed into a power pole and hit a parked car.
Kintner fled on foot, but was found a block away.
Police say he'll face more felony charges because of this incident.
