Man accused of stabbing mother in face arrested
SEATTLE -- The man wanted for allegedly stabbing his mother in the face early Tuesday in her Central District apartment was arrested Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Seattle Police Department, a report of a suspicious person sleeping in Peppis Playground at 32nd Avenue and East Spruce Street led officers to 34-year-old Kevin Ross, who was arrested without incident.
Ross, whose relatives describe as homeless and a crack user, reportedly stabbed his mother three times in the face when she answered her apartment door, yelling, "This is what you get," before being scared off by her boyfriend.
Ross' mother was transported to Harborview Medical Center following the attack.
