Local movie returns to Yakima, will play across Washington

YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. -- A film written and directed by a Yakima Valley native and shot all around the Valley will be on a local screen again soon.

"Cement Suitcase" was such a hit when it played at Yakima Cinema in February that it's coming back - and even playing in theaters all around Washington state. The film is centered around a Prosser winery and nearly all of it was shot in Yakima, Sunnyside, Prosser, Wapato, Granger, Zillah, and Selah.

It will be playing at Yakima Cinema from Friday, Mar. 7, to Thursday, Mar. 13.
