Last 2 'vicious' dogs caught after recent attacks

YAKIMA, Wash.-- All the work to capture two dangerous dogs has paid off. Traps caught both dogs this morning. Yakima Code Enforcement and Animal Control officers set up the traps in the Central Salvage Auto Wrecking yard. They had reports the dogs lived there.

The dogs are blamed for a vicious attack on two people last week. A third dog was killed by police. One of the bite victims would like to be sure animal control got the right animals.

"I feel good that they're captured and stuff," said Ed Gefroh, who was attacked by dogs last week. "I just would like to have a little bit more closure to it and be able to see all three of the dogs and make sure they're the right dogs."

The dogs will be put to sleep in about a week.
