Lack of snow hurts local ski resorts

WHITE PASS, Wash. -- This winter's lack of snow is taking a toll on local ski resorts. White Pass isn't able to open all of its runs.

In fact, 20 percent of its runs are closed because there isn't enough snow.

On top of that, the temperature has been too warm to make snow.

Managers told us they aren't seeing as many skiers because of it.

The resort has not been able to operate in full since opening day.
