Kittitas County conducting survey on air quality
KITTITAS COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT NEWS RELEASE -- The Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD), in partnership with the Department of Ecology in Yakima and the Kittitas County Air Quality Committee, is conducting a community assessment. The assessment aims to find out what Kittitas County residents know about air quality.
The assessment includes questions about air quality monitoring, contributors to poor air quality, and practices around burning in our community. The information collected will help advocate for positive changes in the air we share.
KCPHD is requesting people visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/KCPHDAirQualitySurvey to complete the survey. Paper surveys are also available at the following locations: KCPHD, city of Kittitas Post Office, City of Vantage Post Office, Riverstone Resort, Kittitas Valley Healthcare, Community Health of Central Washington, Super 1 Foods, Fred Meyer, the Roslyn Grocery Store, Old Mill Country Store, Ellensburg Library, City of Eason Post Office, and the Carpenter Memorial Library.
At the end of the survey, enter your name and contact information for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to a local business (Fred Meyers, Bi-mart, Ranch & Home, Old Mill Country Store, and Armstrong Stove & Spa). The survey will close June 30, 2014.
