Judge won't release Harrah man accused of shooting his uncle

YAKIMA, Wash. -- A judge denied the release of a Harrah man accused of trying to kill his uncle. Prosecutors said David Fernandez hoped to be let go on his own recognizance or have his bail reduced.

Investigators said Fernandez and his uncle were involved in a sexual relationship. They also said Fernandez tried to kill him when the uncle wanted to end things.

Bail stands at $1 million.
