Informational forum on Real Hope Act comes to Toppenish

TOPPENISH, Wash. -- An informational forum in Toppenish Thursday afternoon will explain a new law aimed to help undocumented students apply for financial aid.

The forum at Heritage University will focus on the Real Hope Act, which became law earlier this year. State funding could be distributed to students as early as this fall.

The event will start at 3 p.m. at the Heritage University Dining Hall.

The forum is sponsored by ESD 105, the Latino/a Educational Achievement Project, the Washington Student Achievement Council, and Heritage University.
