House burns in Parker

PARKER, Wash. -- A fire has destroyed a home at the 300 block of Main street in the town of Parker.

Fire crews said the call came in of the house fire at about 11:20 am Friday morning, and that firefighters were able to put it out within 10 minutes.

Captain Ryan Bauer with Yakima County Fire District 5 said fire was shooting from the roof when firefighters arrived.

Bauer says no one was in the house at the time of the fire and no one was injured.

The cause is currently undetermined and the fire is under investigation by the Yakima County Fire Marshal.
