Holy cow organic farm

WAPATO, Wash. -- An organic farm in Wapato does business unlike any other here in the Yakima Valley. There's almost 200 cows born and raised at the farm. Janelle Moses ran Holy Cow farm. She grew her own food and planted organic grass for her livestock to ensure quality control. Most farmers buy cows at an auction or beef broker. It takes her about two and a half years to deliver a product.

"It's lower fat, more omega-three's, and it is what God intended us to eat," said Janelle.

Janelle Moses was recognized by the Wapato Chamber of Commerce as Wapato's farmer of the year for 2012.
